Artistry
Influences
One thing most people do not know, is that Bow wow was Keezy's biggest inspiration to become an artist.
As a kid Keezy would write raps and have his mother (Tawana Willis) read them and she would give her honest opinion, "These raps suck son!".
With determination to get better he finally wrote a rap that was approved and from there he knew that he can only get better from there.
One of his favorite song by Bow Wow is "Ghetto Girls". His next inspiration was Nelly.
He loved the melodic songs and the concepts of the songs Nelly used to make. One of his favorite songs by Nelly is "King's Highway".
His next influence is Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne is Keezy's biggest inspration growing up like any other tennager in highschool.
He loved how Wayne was always clever and how Wayne always set you up for the punchline in his music.
Keezy have many songs he likes by the legend Lil Wayne, but his two most favorite songs are "Pussy Money Weed",
"Playing With Fire", and "I Told Yall"...Yeah I know he chose three (3) instead.
The next biggest influence is Drake. Keezy is the only one in his family that really can't sing as well as them, but....he can hold a note lol.
Drake gave Keezy the courage to actually go and make the type of music that you want as an artist and sing. Keezy is always practicing his singing when know one is around and
has found various ways to sing his songs that best fit his style. Keezy's favorite song by the rapper and singer Drake is "Wu-Tang Forever"
and "Fire and Desire". The next biggest influence for Keezy is Kendrick Lamar. "There's nothing much to say about Kendrick", Keezy stated.
"Kendrick is just a dope artist and I love everything he puts out!". Keezy's favorite song by Kendrick Lamar is "Loyalty and
"Money Trees". The last influence Keezy mentioned is The Weeknd.
In Keezy's opinion The Weeknd has the best sound out and he can't miss. His favorite songs by The Weeknd are "The Hills and
Call out My Name.
Musical Style
Keezy is sharpening his skills as a pop-rap arist. While his earlier music that has never been released spanned hip hop and rap,
his music developed into pop and trap type music.
Keezy is known for his creative flows and melodies, intertwined with personal backstory of his relationships and women.
Most of his songs contain R&B and Trap hip hip elements, and he combines singing with rapping. His main focus is making sure the flow and melody are perfect while telling a story.
These are the staples of making his singles and albums.
The lyrical content that Keezy distributes is typically emotional and lustful.
However, when Keezy talks about his accomplishmets and reaching his goals he can become very blunt about the people around him and how most
dudes are not on his level even though on social media it may look like it.
